PERRY BARTON • keyboards, vocals

A longtime student of Elton's piano style, Perry has performed EJ songs all over the U.S. He has played with Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals and many other Classic Rock artists. He is also a successful producer/writer/vocalist for TV and radio ads airing from coast to coast. Perry once sat at a table near Elton at an Atlanta eatery, which makes them practically besties.

CHIP MARTIN • guitar, vocals

Cutting his teeth on classic 60s Pop/Rock—from Motown to British Invasion—Chip formed his first band at the age of 12. In the 70s, singer/songwriters like Elton (plus his guitarist, Davey Johnstone) were a big influence as well. Through it all, Chip has performed and toured steadily. He is also an accomplished songwriter, producer, and session musician.

LANCE HOPPEN • bass, vocals

Lance is best known as the singing bassist co-founder of the Pop/Rock band Orleans, who shared the Billboard charts with Elton with iconic hits like "Still the One," "Dance With Me" and "Love Takes Time." Since moving to Nashville in 1989, he has performed and recorded with many prominent Nashville artists, while continuing to tour with Orleans.

BRADY SPENCER • drums, vocals

In 2018, Brady became the drummer for Orleans. He also performs often with Nashville stars Chip Esten and Clare Bowen, and has worked with Glenn Campbell guitarist Jeff Dayton, CNN's Robin Meade, and many others. Brady's innate feel for the signature work of EJ drummer Nigel Olsson is a huge part of The Rocketmen's funky, solid foundation.
